Rome, GA — The Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) has announced Terrell Sandefur as their new Development Director leading up to the 14th annual event, November 9-12, 2017. Sandefur will split his efforts between Rome and working remotely from his home in Macon, Georgia.
Terrell Sandefur is a relationship broker, social media marketer, and publicist from Macon, where he helped launch a film festival in 2005. A driving force behind the success of the Macon Film Festival, Terrell is a film festival consultant assisting festivals around the state with fundraising and marketing.
"I’m honored and thrilled to join the RIFF team,” said Sandefur. “It will be a privilege and joy to work with RIFF’s exceptional staff and board to help further enrich the Rome International Film Festival experience.”
A master of social media, Terrell’s “Film Macon” campaign has become the criterion for the state of Georgia on promoting cities for film & television production.

Founded in 2003, RIFF is northwest Georgia’s signature film festival event. Named as one of MovieMaker Magazine’s "top 20 festivals worth the submission fee," RIFF is proud to have shared independent films from dozens of countries across the globe with thousands of film fans and filmmakers from near and far over the last 13 years.
