Double Feature Sunday, April 12th!

This Sunday, April 12th come see two movies at The Historic DeSoto Theatre sponsored by Toles Temple & Wright.

The Sunday screenings open with “WALL-E” starting at 2:00PM. This Oscar-winning CGI-animated is a delight! Set on a wasteland Earth circa 2800, where the last robot on the planet, a centuries-old trash compactor named “WALL-E,” romances a sleek, high-tech android named EVE. With a rating of G, this Pixar film is suitable for the whole family. For more information on the film: Click Here! Tickets for this screening are $10. Buy them here!

Following “WALL-E,” “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” continues our apocalyptic journey. After the insane General Jack D. Ripper initiates a nuclear strike on the Soviet Union, a war room full of politicians, generals and a Russian diplomat all frantically try to stop it. A rated PG classic from Stanley Kubrick that’s just as relevant today as it was on its release in 1964. “If the modern world could be summed up in a single word it would be absurd," Kubrick wrote in his notes. "The only truly creative response to this is the comic vision of life."For more information on the film: Click Here! Tickets are on sale for $10 a piece! Buy them here!

See you this Sunday for this screening in the Family Fun Series!
