RIFF Grows Up — Our 20th Anniversary

The Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) turns 20 this year and we are ready to roll out the red carpet for filmmakers, loyal supporters, sponsors, patrons, and guests.

RIFF accepts films in every genre, on any topic, from every country around the world. Narrative and documentary features by first-time directors, breakout features from seasoned directors, short films across genres, and episodes. We do not disqualify any films based on premiere status or date of completion. We do lean into genre and documentary films.

At RIFF, we know the value of community. RIFF seeks to be an inclusive organization that entertains, educates, engages, and enriches our Northwest Georgia community. All this on top of our usual high-quality film offerings and outstanding special guests.

There is something for every person who wants to be involved with RIFF and the film lovers in this community. You can submit a film, become a Patron, sponsor a scholarship, and soon, buy a ticket for 2023. For now, just put November 2-5 in your calendar under “A GREAT time at the Rome International Film Festival.”

Be excited. Be very excited! Great things are on the horizon at RIFF.

What is RIFF Anyway? Here’s the Fine Print
