The Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) announced that acclaimed actor, writer, producer and Georgia native Danny McBride will receive the 2026 Flannery O'Connor Award during the festival's 23rd annual event, taking place Nov. 5-8, 2026, in historic downtown Rome.

On Saturday, July 18th at 7:00 PM at The Historic DeSoto Theatre we will be showing a film in our Family Fun series, presented by Toles, Temple & Wright, Dirty Dancing!

This Sunday, April 12th come see two movies at the Desoto. “WALL-E” is at 2:00PM and “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” is at 4:30 PM. Tickets are on sale here!

In honor of Mike Hobbs’ work with RIFF and to advance a strong relationship between Israel and our local community to partner on education, there will be a celebration on Sunday, August 3. Reservations are required.

Join RIFF, Georgia Power, and Berry College's Office of Diversity for the documentary, This World is Not My Own about outsider folk artist Nellie Mae Rowe. The film will be screened at the Berry College Good Neighbor Center, inside the Krannert building on the campus.
